Programs in the Henry P. Becton School of Nursing and Allied Health emphasize the importance of problem solving, critical thinking, and building resilience. Faculty and students work in tandem to develop healthcare leadership, promote interprofessional collaboration, and further equity and inclusivity.

  • Doctor of Nursing Practice DNP (In Person, Online): Provides practice nurses and nurse executives with advanced knowledge of organizational leadership, systems analysis, and evidence-based practice (EBP).
  • Post-Graduate Certificates (In Person, Online): For nurses who have a MSN/DNP degree from an accredited nursing program to become certified as a Nurse Practitioner in a second population concentration, such as Adult Gerontology Primary Care, Family Primary Care, Psychiatric-Mental Healthcare, or Women’s Healthcare.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner MSN (In Person, Online): Prepares students to become advanced practice nurses with clinical skills for diagnosing and managing common medical conditions in a population specialization.
  • Healthcare Education Administration MSN (In Person, Online): Develop administrative leaders for colleges, universities, and/or other healthcare education settings.
  • Healthcare Administration MSN (In Person, Online): Designed to prepare leaders to influence and implement institutional policies during periods of healthcare reform, restructuring, and changes affecting student, faculty, and staff outcomes.
  • Nurse Practitioner MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health, Women’s Health or Adult Gerontology Primary Care: Qualifies students to treat clients across a wide array of acute, chronic, and complex health problems, as well as provide guidance for health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Entry-to-Practice MSN: Prepares a student to become a professional nurse at the Master's degree level to better meet leadership demands in our dynamic healthcare system.
